CollaborACTION Lab

The CollaborACTION Lab, run by the Hidden in Plain Sight Research Group, invites community members to initiative community-driven research projects through organizing co-design, training and engaging community in participatory data collection, and facilitating knowledge sharing through dissemination activities and collaborative solutions.   â€‹

Our Goals

1. Empowered Community Research Leaders: empower community members to take on leadership and organizer roles in research initiatives, facilitating collaborative action projects and piloting innovative solutions

2. Policy and Practice Recommendations: a set of evidence-based recommendations that emerge from community-driven research findings, shared with policymakers, practitioners, and organizations to inform decision-making.

3. Community Research Showcase Event: community members, stakeholders, and researchers come together to share the findings, insights, and impact of the community-driven research projects

"Community-driven research is grounded in honoring the inherent agency of communities, empowering them as active co-creators of knowledge, and the only pathway to sustainable and relevant solutions."
